We are delighted to offer for auction this stunning Theodore Alexander large butlers side table RRP £899 This is part of a suite, we have six items all matching which is as follows, Butlers table Sometimes side lamp table Wellington Tallboy Dwarf bookcase with drawers Wellington small bank of drawers Writing beuro desk All pieces are in pretty much perfect retail new condition throughout, we have lightly cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a single imperfection anywhere, however, please view the very detailed pictures clearly as they form part of the description around condition This piece is a lovely side table size, I would say its slightly taller than standard and naturally, the surface top is larger than normal, ideally suited for ease of access over the arm of a sofa/armchair or as a good sized bedside table The table is made from solid Acacia timber and formed in the campaign style, it retains the original key, the drawer is expertly made and slides on the single middle rail Dimensions Height 72cm Width 75cm Depth 49cm About the wood What is acacia timber? Blackwood. Acacia melanoxylon. With its rich, dark appearance, Blackwood is well suited to interior applications such as veneers and high-end furniture. Blackwood is a medium-sized Australian hardwood that yields an attractive timber often used for decorative veneers, furniture and panelling Is Acacia a hardwood?
