Table Lowboy Oak Elm Fruitwood X Stretcher Brass William & Mary
About the Item
The straight grain plank top in two sections with a moulded edge on all sides. The carpenter has selected oak with beautiful graining for the frieze fitted with a single drawer with moulded decoration to create three divisions echoing the central arch and shaped form either side. The brass handles are replaced which is common on pieces like this that have been used a lot. The sides are shaped echoing the front. Standing on legs with double or mirrored baluster. Supported by an ‘x’ stretcher with high blocks on bun feet.
