T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Unique Custom Marble Table, USA, circa 1962

About the Item

This elegant table was commissioned in 1962 by world renowned architect Phillip Johnson for Mr. and Mrs. Noah Torno’s Toronto penthouse which Johnson designed. Johnson hired Gibbings to design and produced most of its custom interior furnishings. This table was made in Athens by Sardis, cast and gilt in bronze with a marble top. Dimensions: 16 3/4″ x 24 3/4″.
