Very Rare circa 1920-1940 Persian Moroccan Brass Topped Folding Occasional Table
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this circa very rare 1920-1940 antique Persian Moroccan engraved brass top folding table
A very good looking and well made table, the top is beautifully engraved by hand
We have lightly restored the piece to include a deep clean hand condition wax and hand polish of the timber, the brass has been sympathetically cleaned to ensure the original patina stays whilst cleaning away decades of use

The subject matter is extremely rare in that it depicts Europeans in exotic oriental robes. One is seated with an opium pipe; displayed in a polychrome romantic tropical environment with pavilions, rockwork, trellising, foliage, palms, with a peacock and HoHo bird at their feet.
