About the Item
VINTAGE SIDE/SOFA/OCCASIONAL TABLE
A stylish, good-quality and very usable piece.
A heavy cast tripod base in naturalistic form modelled as bamboo tied in the middle with twine. Either made from gilt brass or bronze.
The circular top is made from gold embossed brown leather with a wonderfully rich patina.
Probably made by Maison Jansen in France in the Mid-20th Century, 1940s-1950s period.
The table is in good vintage order, there is wear commensurate with age which adds to its charm and tells its story but no serious issues.
Approximate measurements 51cm diameter x 50cm high.
