Wood and glass column
About the Item
A cylinder and a rectangular shaped ash-wood volume, in composition with glass, that serves as a side object/pedestal. The object resemble a architectural column and is part of a series named Form before function, where the focus is moved on the aesthetic of each object, rather than on its function. The whole series is made out of side objects and open cabinets, having an aesthetic that places the objects closer to a sculptural piece. The collection is a limited series of 5, for each object. Each piece is made in our workshop, once an order is placed, in a slow production process, focusing on details in order to get the best of it, every time.
