About the Item
A fabulous pair of 20th Century well figured mahogany marble top sofa or bedside tables of exceptional quality and finely carved with beautifully rich patination and grain. The striking moulded Marquina Black marble top of rectangular form with finely cast brass pierced 3/4 gallery grille is raised over a simple panelled single drawer frieze with reeded detail, ring turned pull and gorgeous applied flowerhead paterae motifs to each corner, stunningly carved in low relief. Supported on elegantly tapering ring turned leg with fluted detail conjoined with shelved undertier.
