Biederemier birch drop leaf sofa table, circa 1835. With a rectangular birch top with two drop leaves, a drawer in the frieze, an ebonized pedestal and four down swept feet. The birch top and drop leaves have excellent feathering. Hand dovetailed drawer construction. The dimensions of the top when the drop leaves are raised, width 49" depth 29.25".
