Fumed Oak Sofa Table
About the Item
Wood sofa table and side table handcrafted in English Oak by award winning designer and maker Gareth 'Goldfinch' Brookes in his traditional Manchester studio. This lightweight and easy to move sofa table is perfect for tucking in next to your seat or in those awkward spaces in the home.
A truly adaptable piece, it can be used in every room in the home - key table in the hallway, tv remote holder in living room, plant stand, coffee holder or even a beautifully simple night stand.
All pieces are designed and hand made by Gareth using quarter sawn English Oak. This is the finest type of wood you can use, making it supremley stable and also beautiful to look at and to touch.
This piece has been fumed a rich dark Brown. Fuming is a traditional proccess which gives the wood a rich tone that goes deep into the wood, so even if the piece is scratched or damaged it will keep it's colour.
