About the Item
This exceptionally rare illuminated fish sculpture serves as an extravagant sofa table and is attributed to the French designers Isabelle & Richard Fauré. It most likely hails from the illustrious Maison Honoré in Paris, known for their remarkable custom made creations.
Skillfully crafted from welded and polished brass plates this objet d'art has a golden patina and is decorated with luminous quartz-crystal elements in the fins and tail. The fish eyes are fashioned from molten glass.
The oval shaped table-top is made from glass and delicately rests on the fins and tail.
Hidden beneath the fins and tail and wired through the body of the fish are three E14 light bulbs which illuminate the the table top and elevate this exceptional coffee table to a magnificent art installation
