18th Century American Hepplewhite Tilt-Top Table

American Hepplewhite tilt-top candle stand with oval top of figured wood. The column has urn and concave turnings with delicate curve detail at the base. The splayed legs are well proportioned. The parts of the table are mortised joinery.
The locking mechanism is brass and is original to the table.
