About the Item
Antique possible Wine Tasting Table that can accommodate both standard chairs or stools. The height of our purported French Wine Tasting Table is adjustable, which we have never seen before. We believe the table was used for Wine Tasting because one, it folds dead flat for storage and that is typical for Wine Tasting Tables and two, it appears to have been covered at one point in its life with fabric, possibly an oil cloth. The fabric covering was also commonly used on many French Wine Tasting Tables. The patina of French white oak is about as good as you will ever see and virtually perfect to our eyes. We think that the Wine Table must have been uncovered for decades to achieve this natural washed oak colour. Could also make a wonderful kitchen table for an apartment, or just a smaller kitchen
