Walnut chippendale Style writing table. circa 1920 This Writing Table Stands upon Typical Chippendale Style Legs with Boldly Carved Ball and Claw Feet with Carved Shells to the Knees. Having an arrangement of 5 working drawers. Each Drawer Having a Burr Walnut Centre Panel, Walnut Crossbanding and inlaid Herringbone detail. The Drawers Retain their Original Locks and Drop Handles. The Top of the Writing Table Features Crossbanding and Carved Mouldings, a Green Leather Writing Surface (replacement) with hand applied Gilt and Blind Tooling. This Writing Table is Free Standing.
