Early Antique Tiger Oak Side or Parlor Table with Turned Legs - Early 1900s

About the Item

A very old early American antique parlor table created from Tiger Oak. This side table is an excellent example of early American-style classical furniture. The estate that it was sourced from belonged to a ranching family and had been passed down over the years. It is in wonderful condition for its age. It has turned spindle legs and scalloped edges. This table is unique as it has a studded metal border around the top tier. The second shelf underneath is also scalloped and will be great for displaying a plant, table lamp, or an assortment of books. We've never seen a table like this before. We see parlor tables here and there, but this one is quite unique with the metal beading around the sides. The front and back feature a small short apron, and the underside of each leg is scored with an 'X'. The wood grain is stunning and in remarkable condition. This lovely piece would fit nicely in any room or decor style. Dimensions: 26" Wide 24.25" Deep 28.25" Tall 16.25 Lower Shelf Height 11" x 11" square bottom shelf

  • Rustic Antique Early American Iron and Glass Accent or Side Table - 1900s Tulsa
    Located in Oklahoma City, OK
A rustic early American iron and glass accent table. This table was taken from the estate of an Oklahoma oilman in Tulsa Oklahoma. His estate is located next door to the Belvedere House in Downtown Tulsa. The home in itself is a historical home. We were very excited to get ahold of a piece that was part of the original interior. The rectangular table is made up of distressed iron legs, and glass at the top. Tables like this were often created by ranch hands living on the properties. It is unknown if this was created in this manner, or if it was a purchase from a shop. Either way, it is a wonderful piece that was very well made. We love the idea of using this table on a front porch, garden or patio. Perhaps a patio that has black and white checkered tile...
