    A Czechoslovakian side table by Jindrich Halabala, circa 1930's. This antique side table from the former country of Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, features a square-shaped top with rounded edges, which is raised upon four curved legs (which gives this style it's "spider" name). The walnut top contrasts nicely against the darker stained beech wood legs. There are some slight areas of wear and patina, primarily along some of the edges, typical for a piece of this age.     Art Deco coffee table designed in 1960 by Jindrich Halabala. The table is completely restored. We used semi matte walnut veneer. It was manufactured in Czech Republic. Only one unique item available. About the designer: Jindrich Halabala (24 May 1903 Korycany – 18 November 1978 Brno) was a Czech furniture designer, theoretician, publicist and teacher. He became famous above all for his stylish furniture designs for the Brno UP factories between 1925 and 1955, where he worked as chief designer.
