Japanese Antique, Low table, Taisho Period'Early 1900s', Wabi Sabi

About the Item

This is a low table of Japanese antique. It was made in the Taisho period. (1912-1926) It was used as a writing desk in Japan, a culture that lives sitting on the floor. It is equipped with a horizontal wood called tatamizuri, which is attached to the legs to prevent damage to the tatami mats. The dead brown hue of the used Japanese ash creates a unique and comfortable atmosphere. The natural texture of the wood after years of use adds depth and history to any room. Its subtle design brings a light, elegant beauty and sophisticated accents to any modern living space. More than just a low table, it can also function as a center table or display stand, demonstrating its beauty and functionality in a variety of settings. There is a slight warp to the top, but this is not a problem with use. Cleaned and disinfected with non-toxic solution. The drawers moves smoothly. We have conducted a meticulous check for any broken or damaged areas, and the result is absolutely problem-free. It is in excellent condition.
