Japanese antique wooden table for wall mounting/Early 20thCentury/Wabisabi table

About the Item

"Note" This is a special table that is placed against the wall. Be sure to install it in a place where it touches the wall. This table is made from a combination of materials made from the Meiji period to the early Showa period. The top plate is probably made of cedar or pine. The table base is originally a mold for making clay pipes. Pine wood is used here. Because it has been stored for a long time, it has become black due to smoke from other sources. This is a cool table with a very wabi-sabi feel. Since the table base is not circular, it cannot be used as a center table. You can use it stably by placing the table base and top plate against the wall. The top plate has a beautiful wood grain and attractive color that changes over time. On the other hand, the table base is a very rare antique item made of a wooden clay pipe, and this is the first time I have seen this item in ten years. It is unlikely that similar items will be available in the future. This is a one-of-a-kind table. Highly recommended. size of top plate w134.4cm d51.7-53.5cm h6cm Board weight: 19.5kg Table base weight: 11kg If you want something special, we encourage you to purchase our selected items.
