An eccentric contemporary studio art sculptural table titled “Dry Gulch Turkey” by Mark Oldland. Signed, titled, and dated 1994 on underside of table. A unique table that makes a statement. Per the artist, “I dream small shreds of a broader, more remote reality and then attempt to deliver them here somehow. Translation becomes the vocation, with just the edge of a nemesis. Through history, artists have delivered tacit permissions for experimentation. One of the most satisfying aspects of my working is passing these permissions along.” From a private collection. Dimensions: 21.25”h x 25.5”dia. In very good vintage condition.
