About the Item

A very good Mid Century Modern Danish rosewood extending dining table with two leaves, by Farstrup Mobler, circa 1965. This very stylish Danish MCM table having gently curved sides & ends, it is almost square without the leaves inserted, perfect for intimate dining of up to four people. The table base forms an 'X' frame pedestal when closed and extends to receive either one or both leaves, with both leaves inserted the table will accommodate 8-10 guests. The table opens and closes smoothly & with ease, to the underside is the manufacturer's label, "Made in Denmark by Farstrup". The table has just been professionally re-polished in Bloomsbury's workshops and is in very good condition and ready to grace your home & receive your guests for dinner.
