Pair of Bedside Tables, Anonymous for DUX, Sweden, 1960s

$7,366.71per set

About

Pair of bedside tables, anonymous for DUX, Sweden, 1960s. Cane, rattan, teak and metal. The colonial-style combination of cane, rattan, and teak makes this Scandinavian bedside table design particularly interesting. The woven edges and metal handles create a striking decorative contrast. Both bedside tables are very sturdy and in good original condition. Initially, the Swedish furniture manufacturer DUX specialised in the production of beds, but later they diversified and famously realised various iconic designs by Bruno Mathsson. Measures: H: 54 cm / 1' 9 1/4" W: 52 cm / 1' 8 1/2" D: 45 cm / 1' 6 3/4".
