Swedish pine table "Lövåsen," (meaning "leaf hill") produced by Åby Möbelfabrik,1940s.
The oxidation from the iron has seeped into the wood, giving it a visible testament to the passage of time.
Scratches and dings contribute to its visual aesthetic and character.
It has a strong resemblance to Axel Einar Hjorth's work and was previously mistakenly attributed to him.
However, this is not the case. Nevertheless, it certainly possesses the age and designer presence to stand on its own.
Made out of pine wood, with iron braces and bolts.
