"That Day by the Lake" Glass Topped Dining Table With Acid Washed Iron Base
About the Item
“THAT DAY BY THE LAKE” is a one-of-a-kind table designed and manufactured by KalaRara. Recalling days spent watching the light dapple across an aquatic landscape, the tabletop was created on canvas with composite of silica, sand, natural pigments and gold powder, inset with weathered and distressed lead. The tabletop which has a sculptural and tactile appearance, is protected with an overlay of extra clear tempered glass that rests edge-to-edge on an iron base hand forged and finished with an acid wash. The table base as well as the tabletop were entirely made by hand in Rome.
