19th Century English Walnut Tilt-Top End Table

About the Item

Stunning and elegant Queen Anne Style tilt-top end table. Striking English design from the mid 19th Century. The solid walnut top is attached to the solid walnut turned pedestal shaft via a large dowel set through a top plate fitted with a spring latch system. The latch can be opened to allow the top to tilt vertically, allowing one to tuck the table against the wall where it can stand ready until needed as a permanent end table or wine table. This wonderful Queen Anne Style tilt-top end table is in very good refinished condition with a beautiful patina. A real eye-catcher in your home or office. Our gallery is a family-owned and managed company which has been dedicated to dealing in 20th century Decorative Arts since it’s foundation in the late 1920s. We supply customers around the world from our headquarters in Amsterdam and our new showroom in Cruquius near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. We ship worldwide and our team of experienced packers will wrap and pack your item carefully. Please note that overseas shipping is with FedEx and front door only!
