19th Century Victorian Hand Painted & Ebonized Tilt-Top Side Table with inlays

About the Item

An antique English lacquer Papier Mâché tilt top occasional table, hand painted with floral motifs and inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The scalloped top and base made of paper-mache, that was fashion during the Victorian period. The spine is made of fruitwood. The gilt decoration has faded gently with age.
