Direct from England, this gorgeous antique tilt-top table is a classic British beauty and probably one of the most sought-after tables today.
All the elements found in these traditional tables – with the top vertical, it’s a slender profile, ready to sit quietly in a corner, awaiting use. And when flipped down, the large round table surface is perfect for entertaining, dining or perhaps a game of mahjong!
The carved beveled edge, solid mahogany round top has beautiful grain and a lovely, aged patina. Tripod base legs are fully carved, with a traditional birdcage design on the upper pedestal post. Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 47” ht. x 33.5” x 23”, with table top vertical. 27.5”ht. x 33.5” x 33.5” with table top horizontal, ready for use.
