A nest of three wonderful Regency chinoiserie gilt and black lacquer tables. Below the Jappaned surfaces, the table tops are intricately decorated with exquisite scenes from the Far East, with three different scenes depicted on each table. Raised on ring turned legs, united by a stretcher and raised on swept feet. English, circa 1815. Additional information: Tall table: H 72 cm (H 28.3 inches) W 46 cm (W 18.1 inches) D 28.5 cm (D 11.22 inches) Medium table: H 70 cm (H 27.5 inches) W 40.5 cm (W 15.9 inches) D 27.5 cm (D 10.8 inches) Low table: H 69 cm (H 27.1 inches) W 40 cm (W 15.7 inches) D 26.5 cm (D 10.4 inches).
