Swedish Early 20th Century Birch Tilt Top Table

About the Item

An eye-catching tilt-top table from Sweden, circa 1900. The top is made of vibrant birch that beautifully contrasts with the supper foot ebony base. This table has the ability to be stored away when not in use thanks to the tilting mechanism that allows its top to be positioned in upright orientation so as to take up less space in tightly-quartered spaces. When tilted upright, the table measures: 46”H x 33”W x 23-¼”D . Today, this unique table would be perfect for a breakfast room or informal dining space, but could also serve as a primary dining table for a smaller family. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at the condition and details.
