Large egyptian brass tray table with wood folding base, 1950s
The removable round bras top has a very detailed hand engraved decoration with polychrome egyptian designs. It stands up on a wooden carved folding base with 6 turned legs.
Very fine and complex engraving work can be found on the brass tray.
This folding table would be a perfect choice in a traditional Arabic decoration but also an interesting accent in a Mid-Century Modern or contemporary interior style.
Pretty beautiful used as side table / end table, coffee or tea table or occasional table for parties arround your sofa. As it is folding and easy to change of place it can be used indoor and outdoor as serving table in a terrace.
