A rare and elegant wooden trolley in birch, designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara and manufactured by Keravanpuutehdas Oy in Finland in the 1940s. The trolley has sustained great original condition and holds a beautiful patina.
Ilmari Tapiovaara (1914-1999) was one of the most significant Finnish designers in the 20th century. His designs have always had an emphasis on functionality, and almost a century later his work is still sought after internationally. Some of his most renowned designs include the Domus, Aslak, Kiki and Nana.
