Large Middle Eastern Brass Tray Table on Carved Hardwood Folding Stand
Mid 20th century
A fine and generously sized decorative brass tray table, likely Moroccan or Middle Eastern in origin, dating from the mid 20th century.
The circular brass tray is engraved with a central floral medallion and foliate border, and finished with a scalloped rim. It rests on an intricately carved and pierced folding hardwood base, ebonised and designed with an interlocking X-frame typical of traditional craftsmanship from the region.

92 cm diameter x 49 cm height
Condition:
Good vintage condition. The tray shows light tarnish, marks and small pitting in places commensurate with age. The base is structurally sound with minor scuffs and rubbing to the finish.
A striking, functional piece suitable for eclectic or bohemian interiors.
