Round Tray in Brass and Pink Straw Marquetry by Ginger Brown
About the Item
This lovely pink round tray is made of brushed brass and straw marquetry.
The radial design of the straw reminds the great Art deco period while the elegant pink color contrasts perfectly with the gold brass.
The straw used for the marquetry is rye straw. It is dried and tinted then opened and flattened before to be sticked on the wood.
The straw has a natural silica varnish which makes it resistant and waterproof.
The dimensions of this piece are Diam 11.8" x H 1.77" (Diam 30 x h4.5cm)
Care instructions:
To clean, simply wipe with a dry clean cloth
Do not use any cleaning agent on the surface
