About the Item

American Neoclassic dressing stand / wash stand with projecting demilune top, framed on three sides with a splash. The top rests on a conforming apron fitted with flanking apron drawers accompanied by drop ring brass pulls, and is supported by an open cabinet with shelf on another full width apron drawer with drop ring drawer pulls. The piece rests on turned legs with cast brass cup castors. Mahogany solids and figured mahogany veneers on pine and poplar. America, circa 1830. Measures: 25-1/4” W x 16-1/2” D x 33-3/4” H (to splash) 10-1/4” H (bottom shelf height) 28” H (top surface) 5-7/8” (splash height).
