About the Item

Elegant Art Nouveau cabinet crafted from solid cherrywood, South Germany circa 1905. The piece features a tall, slightly forward-leaning mirror with beautifully facetted edges – a characteristic detail of the period. Beneath the mirror, two drawers and a spacious double-door cabinet provide functional storage. All fittings, handles and locks are original and made of finely patinated brass, underlining the cabinet’s authentic charm. The warm cherrywood displays a rich, glowing grain, hand-polished with shellac to achieve a soft satin sheen. Perfect both as a vanity cabinet, hallway mirror cabinet or stylish accent piece in a contemporary interior. Professionally restored to an excellent condition while maintaining its original character. Measures: total height approx. 195 cm, cabinet height 90 cm, width 95 cm, depth 45 cm.
