Gustave Keller was an internationally renowned silversmith in Paris, founded in 1856, specializing in elegant decorative accessories made of gold and silver. The societe Keller exhibited works at the 1889 and 1900 Paris world exhibitions, and won a medaille d'or grand prix. Keller's shop was moved to 22 rue Joubert in 1891 and attracted some of the most prestigious clients, becoming the official silversmith to the courts of Spain, Russia, Greece and Romania.
