About the Item

A sycamore, gilt bronze and parchment vanity with mirror by Maxime Old (1910-1991,) created, circa 1940. Only three examples of this design have ever been produced, this being the only one where parchment is used instead of black leather. Ref. in "Maxime Old: Architecte-Decorateur" by Yves Bandez, Ed.
