Wonderful Scandinavian Modern teak flip open top vanity with mirror by Jesper International of Denmark. It is in beautiful vintage condition with one small mark on the left top edge, possibly a burn from a curling iron. The finish has been restored by our experienced staff. Please see photos, circa 1960-1980. Hey… Good lookin……. Just the perfect setting for any girl to put the finishing touches on her face and hair. This gorgeous make up vanity is labeled on the bottom by Jesper International of Denmark. The top opens to reveal a large rectangular mirror. Once opened there is a shelf that pulls out that you can set items on and inside the vanity there is a sizeable inner compartment to hold all her cosmetics and hair supplies. Below that, there is a lower storage area for larger items like a blow dryer, curling iron, or straightening tools. After she has completed her cosmetic artistry, she can shut the top to hide the clutter or use it as a desk or small table. It is finished on all four sides so it can float beautifully anywhere in her room. Jesper Office was founded in 1935 in the little town of Ulfborg in western Denmark. The furniture factory was established as Hundevad & Co. and was run by skilled Danish cabinet makers who paid high attention to quality and traditional woodworking skills.
