"2 He Sustaining, " Limited Edition Print by Renée Rey from a Series of Four

About the Item

"2 He Sustaining," is a white, green, gray and orange archival Fine Art print in a limited edition of 75 by Renée Rey. Each signed Archival Pigment numbered work is printed on hot press rag paper with Epson Ultrachrome ink with Archival pigment print. There are 3 other prints in this series that look sensational as a set or paired. See below photos of selections. This work has a two inch border and is sold unframed. "2 He Sustaining" is a smaller scaled version of her award winning 7 foot painting of the same namesake. In Rey's ethereal artwork, the artist forms a world in which nature, humans and technology flow in and out of harmonious existence. Reference to the periodic table, symbolizing the equality of all that exists, hovers over and between systems of saturated pigments and gestural line and form. Meditative and mystical, Rey's artwork is informed by the surrealism of Dali, the multi-dimensionality of Asian art and her birthplace in Japan. Renée Rey is a painter and mixed-media artist working in southwest Florida and New York. During her 26 year career, Rey's artwork has been selected for national awards and exhibitions by art professionals, museum curators and gallerists, and has been collected internationally. The artist has studied visual art and art history on the undergraduate and graduate levels in New York and Florida. She holds an MBA in Management. Artwork copyright by Renée Rey, Artist. "23 V: Countercurrent, " Large Contemporary Oil Painting on Canvas by Renée Rey
Located in New York, NY
In her mixed-media artwork "23 V Countercurrent," Rey explores narratives connecting nature, technology and sustainability. Fusing a Postmodern oeuvre of abstraction and surrealism, with a nod to Tiepolo, Constable and Dali, the artist ignites saturated stems of red, pink, and green pigments in a world where color and form flow in and out of multi-perspectives. Springing forth through space is symbolic iconography. Sea life including fish, manatee and coral swim through currents of air, water and land as the artist examines the dynamic link between them. Engineered towers protect vital H2O for human sustenance while elements of the periodic table depict the equality of all that exists on earth and beyond. Renée Rey...
