TATE WAKU is a prestigious traditional Japanese pattern that is believed to have been created between the Nara period (714〜784) and the Heian period (784〜1185). Even today, the clouds and steam rising from TATE WAKU are believed to "bring good luck," and it is still loved by many people as a pattern of good fortune.
Gold embroidery on black-toned silk with floral patterns embroidered in colors such as orange, white, sky blue, and matcha, gives a luxurious look.
