About the Item

Rob Scholte (°1958) "Chlamydia" Screenprint on canvas Edition 9/10 Dated and signed on the back 1988 Rob Scholte born in 1958 in Amsterdam and started his career as a an artist in 1982. He can be considered as a slightly controversial painter. As a composer of or with (existing) images he creates a new reality. With his most important theme: the manipulation by the media of the public opinion. The work we propose here is part of a trilogy: Chlamydia, Melancholia and Nostalgia A good example of his way of working with existing images. Purchased: galerie Bébert Rotterdam
