18th Century French Heraldry Motif Carved-Wood Wall Panel

About the Item

A French carved-wood panel from the 18th century. This antique wall decoration from France has a primarily rectangular shape, with raised carvings depicting a raised crown crest at top center, above a shielded crest at middle, flanked within a pair of fiercely-carved lions, and leafy scrolls along the lower section of the panel. The wood has a rich patina throughout (reflective of it's history and age) and there are remnants of older color and gilt. This 18th century French heraldry motif carved panel will beautifully decorate any wall space, and is nicely sized at approximately 4.5 feet with width.
