French Pair of Carved-Wood Cornucopia Wall Plaques, Turn of the 18th and 19th C.
About the Item
A French pair of carved-wood cornucopia wall decorations from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique pair of wall plaques from France have each been hand-carved, depicting cornucopias filled with flowers and bow-tied ribbons at their mid-sections. The wood has a lovely old patina, some older worm holes, a show of their age and history which we feel adds to the character and charm of these pieces. Together, these late 18th century French cornucopia will make for nice wall art, adding textural interest and just a touch of whimsy!
