About this artwork
Fifty million years ago, in southwestern Wyoming, a tropical freshwater lake teemed with life—turtles, fish, crocodiles, and plants. Today the petrified lake has transformed into a stunning quarry of fossils, embedding the past into layers of stone. This is famously known as the Green River Formation.
The beautifully preserved fossils are meticulously excavated from our private quarry and then prepared by our leading experts in fossil preparation and preservation. All work adheres to the strict standards of the American Association of Applied Paleontological Science, as is attested to in each work of art's unique "Certificate of Authenticity".
We have supplied stunning examples of our natural art to world-class museums, collectors, interior designers, and art lovers. Our collection highlights important one-of-a-kind pieces as well as affordable works of natural art.
