Art Deco vintage wood inlaid picture or wall panel in the of style of Victor Lurje 1920s, Austria. A stunning wooden inlaid picture in the style of Victor Lurje 1920s with fairytale motif unicorn and fabulous animal under pomegranate tree in the paradise inlaid with various woods, like ash, walnut, maple tree and fruitwood as plum wood. This beautiful wall panel shows high quality wooden inlaid work very similar to the great artist Victor Lurje ( 1883 - 1944 ). Victor Lurje was a famed representative from the Wiener Werkstätte and created lavish extravagant inlaid wooden works, also he worked as architect, designer and ceramic artist. He was friendly connected with Josef Frank and Oskar Strnad and a typical representative from the Wiener Wohnraumkultur in the interwar period.
