About the Item

Beautiful decorative plates designed by renowned Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal. Germany. 1970s. Porcelain plates from the end of the 20th century based on the fairy tales «The Thousand and One Nights». (Nights of Schaherezade). Diameter: 20 cm. Each plate is made in bright colors on a rich cobalt blue. The gilded ornament enhances the effect of the illustrated scenes. On the reverse side there is a metal hanger with which the plate can be hung on the wall. The plates are excellent for both collection and home decor. Wiinblad’s work can be found in museums around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Stockholm National Museum. 1. This Bjorn Wiinblad Vintage Danish Modern Rosenthal porcelain " Aladdin " collector's decorative plate is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
