China Trade Watercolor & Gouache on pith paper,
Set of twelve paintings of fruit and flowers,
Circa 1850-1860
The set of twelve China trade watercolor still life paintings, each different and of the finest quality, depict groupings of different fruit surrounded by flowers with gilt edging to the surrounding French marbled matte with a surrounding band of variegated marble.
Dimensions: 14 1/2 inches high x 18 1/2 inches wide x 3/4 inc deep; Sight: 7 inches high x 10 1/2 inches
