About the Item
Decorative socialist realism large marquetry wallboard. The picture is made of extra quality, with at least 7 types of wood. Marked intarsia artistic masterpiece picture, very beautiful, in original condition by Szilárd Kiss. Due to its age, the surface has a few scratches and dents on the sides, but it is in its original condition and fits well.
Size: 140x70cm, 2 cm, and approx 13kg.
The creator is Szilárd Kiss, the largest intarsia maker of his time, several woodworking authors of trade books, and a college teacher. Among his works is one, which can be found in the old National Theater building.
In our studio, we collect exciting pieces, mainly from the European period of the 1930s-1970s. We love bohemian and special pieces. We refurbish the furniture, always using classic craft techniques. During the renovation, we choose a textile from which we make only one piece. In this way, we make furniture of which there is guaranteed to be one.
