Leon Senf (1860-1940)
Leon Senf took drawing lessons at the Polytechnic School in delft , where Jan Toorop was a fellow student. He also attended drawing evenings in Pulchri Studio where he met G.H. Breitner and Suze Robertson. Until 1930 Senf worked at the painting rooms of De Porceleyne Fles. He designed tile panels, pottery and decors here. Senf was also an independent artist. He produced drawings and graphics. The theme "labor" was central to his drawings. He lived and worked in Noordwijk and Voorburg.
