Japanese Antique Large Paper Boro / Wall Decoration /Wabi-sabi Mingei

About the Item

It is speculated that this is a large old Japanese paper that was used for sericulture. Paper coated with persimmon astringent is applied for reinforcement, and the concentration of color varies depending on the place due to aging. It looks like a painting. The back is white and light brown, and old Japanese characters are randomly lined up. You can also decorate your back. The exterior decorated on the wall is a masterpiece, and natural changes such as color and wrinkles are in perfect balance. It is recommended to hang it on the wall, but it is durable, so it can be used as a rug in a large space, and you can also decorate a pot on it. We recommend incorporating the beautiful changes of Japanese paper into the interior as "Japanese paper BORO". Weight: 0.5kg
