Japanese Antique Old Japanese Paper Art / Wall Decoration / Wabi-sabi【Blue】

About the Item

This is an original wall decoration made by combining the good old things of Japan. Covers of old books from the Edo period to the Meiji period were randomly pasted together. By overlapping multiple covers of the same color, the wrinkles and scratches create a unique beauty, and it can be used as a large wall decoration like a painting. The frame is made of old cedar wood, and has turned gray due to natural discoloration over many years of use. It can be hung on the wall either vertically or horizontally. By decorating the space with blue, you can change the impression of the entire space. It is also nice to display the natural wrinkles and tears in the paper due to aging as wall decorations. It is also recommended to add an element of beautiful Japanese wabi-sabi to the space. Weight: 17.0kg
