Decorative pair of late 18th century hand coloured lithograph plates of a Franklin Tartar and Black Hellebore. Originally both part of the botanical book Flower Garden Displayed by William Curtis (1746-1799) and published by J.Sowerby of London Displayed on a wonderful pair of period faux marble mount boards with painted borders, all housed in antique style bull nose water gilt frames. Minor age related discolouration and browning to both boards and plates. 33/24cm, price for the pair
